The Quilter's Circle is a small group of women within the JUMW who make and tie quilts for donation. They also sell them through the church.

They do not do the "fancy stitch" quilting to join the three layers, but tie them to hold the layers together. Some of the women piece and sew the blocks together to form the top.

The Quilter's Circle was formed in 1985, and donate their quilts to such places as Epworth Village, SASSA and CrossRoads. As of July 1st, they had donated a total of 858 quilts.

This year we are donating 37 quilts!

Anyone can attend, and sewing is not mandatory! The ladies meet every Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm to 3 pm in the Juniata United Methodist Church basement. During that time the ladies break for coffee and refreshments.

Remember, EVERYONE is welcome!
